Was most definitely a snow day! This winter Mississippi has seen more snow than they have in maybe forever!! It has been fun for me actually. I like when it snows down here because you can enjoy it for a day or two and then it usually warms up quickly and it all disappears and doesn't leave behind a huge mess. BUT...it can be catastrophic because they don't have the equipment down here to deal with it and people have no clue how to drive in it. It took Josh over 2 hours to get home today...it normally take 20 minutes!
Just two Saturdays ago it was a magnificent day...getting up into the 70s. Carter thought it was great and enjoyed a Popsicle and a balloon that was as happy as he was. It was so funny because everyone around town was just so happy and in such a good mood. The parks were all full and everyone seemed to have a smile on their face. The power a sunny, warm day can have on your spirits!

How Bizare
On Friday October 5th is was fairly warm so, needless to say, when we woke up Saturday morning and saw this scene in our backyard we were quite surprised! It was actually quite beautiful. However, short lived. By Sunday evening it was all melted and now it has gotten back up to the 70s and people were out in the park playing all kinds of sports and the sprinklers were back on and lawns were being mowed. How bizarre. Doo doo do doo doo do How bizarre. Okay...so actually more normal for Idaho weather...but I needed a good title.
Carter is all bundled up on the way to the library for the Daddy and Dinner project. Even with the blizzard we packed up and got out of the house for some fresh air and change of scenery.
Josh helping Carter with his coloring project. the finishing project was supposed to be a kite. However, after about 5 minutes Carter decided the project was over and continued to let us know. That is when I become seriously scared that I could not control my own child. Needless to say we packed up and left very quickly. Josh and I realized it was totally our fault because we were there during nap time and he was by far the youngest kiddo there. So, next time we will plan more wisely. It was fun while it lasted though.
Best Buddies
This is the response (very appropriate I must add) when we say "Carter, show me your teeth!"
Who is that masked man?!?! Carter thought this was funny at first...but after a minute he hated it. I guess I will cross this off of my list of possible costumes.
Cheerio Head!!!
My little sweetie pie smiling big before bedtime!
So, I know people think I should post pictures of myself on here. Well...sorry to inform you I will not be posting any recent pictures of myself, unless the Skinny Wish Fairy visits me soon. Nothing good would come from it. Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you...haha! Thanks for reading and sharing with me the many adventures of Carter!
