Skipping Christmas

...almost.

To make a long story short...I just got back to Mississippi last night after 3 months of working a temp. job in Idaho. I feel like I have missed the season a bit. Is Christmas really only a week away?!?!

So, I was blogging to say I am sorry I did not get Christmas Cards out this year. I had such cute pictures to use too but I just ran out of time. I just did not want anyone to wonder why they did not get a card from me...if that is something someone might actually contemplate:)

I was excited to get home and see that I did have a handful of people that included me on their Christmas Card list! Thank you so much for thinking of us...as you know getting Christmas cards is one of my very fav. things ever!

So, to try and get into the Spirit of Christmas, Josh is at our storage unit tracking down the Christmas boxes. Maybe I will just keep decor up longer this year to make-up for the couple weeks I missed.

I kicked off my start to the season by reading the December Ensign last night...could not have asked for a better way to remember the true meaning of Christmas.

I hope you all have a spectacular Christmas! May your days be Merry and Bright!

Love to you all!!

Merry Christmas, Laura! You should put up your decorations! We don't have any and somehow it just doesn't feel the same without them.

What is your mailing address? (You can email it to me: andreawerbeck@gmail.com) I want to send you a Christmas card!

You see, it's people like you who make me feel like a lazy dork. I think I migh have possibly sent out Christmas cards once, maybe. I love to get them too, but it's the kind of thing I always tell myself I'll do today but then 50 other little things get in the way.

I"m going to miss getting your Christmas card. So many people are doing digital newsletters/pictures through email and it kind of bums me out, because I'M A FAN OF CHRISTMAS CARDS! There's something magical about getting a christmas card in snail mail.

I leave people's pictures up on my fridge all year round. So I'm bummed, but I'll get over it and it's not going to ruin my Christmas spirit...just dim it a tiny bit! :)

Having said that--Know I still love you and always will. Christmas card or no christmas card-you are a special friend and I won't hold it against you. :)hehe

Have fun decorating for Christmas!
XOXO

Laura-- don't worry about the christmas cards! Oh, and being as close as it is to christmas- I need your address so I can send you ours! I'm a procrastinator and know it! I think sometimes its nice to sit back and remember the true meaning of christmas rather than get caught up in all the commercial part of christmas. I think reading the Ensign is a great way to get in the true christmas spirit! Good luck with everything and have a Merry Christmas!
