Seven

I meant to do this post around the 9th...seeing as that was our 7 year anniversary. I did manage to put a lovey-dovey background up and an old picture of us. Our header is from 1999...Josh's senior prom. I was 16 and Josh was 18. 16??? That is crazy talk. That night was a really fun night. Josh had his van all decked out in my favorite colors (purple and yellow). Balloons and streamers and lights. Haha...I can't remember anything else...where did we go for dinner? Haha...I said it was really fun but I don't remember...but the fact that I was with Josh and Julie and Lance guarantees it. So we will just go with that.(Look at the awesome backdrop that the photographers came up with)

To celebrate our 7 years together we took a trip away from all of our babies (read:tenants). We drove the 6 hours to Eastern Tennessee to the great Smokey Mountains. We had a blast. The tri-city area of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg is where we were. It is such a family oriented and fun place to visit. There are endless amounts of activities to do with Carter that we, as mature, sophisticated adults, could enjoy as well. I have lots of pictures that I will post soon and tell you more about what we did there.

I want to say Happy Anniversary to Josh, who never reads my blog! It really has been a great 7 years. He puts up with A LOT having me as a wife and I really appreciate him sticking by me. He is the epitome of hard work. He puts 145.76% into everything he does. It is a great sense of pride for me when I always have people coming up to me and telling me what a great guy Josh is. It happens quite often because that is how Josh is...always out helping and serving. He also is very active and HERE when he is home with us. He cleans, does laundry, reads stories, plays games, wrestles, makes breakfast, scrubs toilets, and does all the dirty work. Indeed I am rather spoiled...and quite lazy from the looks of this list...what do I do? I really appreciate him and need to work harder at letting him know. Thanks Sweetie! I love you forever!

Here is to year 8! Crazy how I swear I just wrote the post entitled "Six" last year...seriously!?!?! How many times can I ask...where does the time go???

Happy Anniversary! But more importantly, could I be any uglier? haha! People probably think that was just an awkward year..maybe..but actually I remember hating how I looked that evening and how ugly my hair and feeling so sad Lance had to have such an ugly date. Oh well..ugly happens. And back to you, so glad you married Josh, he's the greatest..heck when he's at my house he's really there..he comes and fixes everything and trims my roses...go ahead and keep him for another seven!

Yeah, I swear I just read your "6" post. Time goes way fast lately.
Josh is a great guy. I even have people come up to me and tell me what a great guy Josh is. :) I'm glad youguys are together. I think my whole concept of love would have shattered had you guys not gotten married...and stayed married.

I miss the 16 year old Laura. I didn't remember that you and Katie married on the same day. And you have a great husband. I am so glad that he takes care of you... because you really deserve it! And send your pics this way. I would love to edit them!

I saw this post forever ago, but I've been a super lazy commet leaver lately. But I wanted to say that you're more brave than me. No way would I put up pictures of myself from then, ha. Love it! What's even more fun is looking at Brett's old high school dance pictures, whoa 90s!
