No Longer a Kernel

The popcorn has been removed! Josh and Carter spent the ENTIRE day today at the hospital where eventually the popcorn was removed from Carter's ear. Phew...don't have to have that worry lingering in my head all day. I just want to thank Josh for being such a good dad and making it through the day...having to endure countless hours of waiting and a toddler in a hospital...he deserves major props! He left at 11:00 this morning and they finally got home sometime after 9:00 pm...my blood pressure rises just thinking about the day he must have had!

I, on the other hand, stayed home and wrapped presents the ENTIRE time...getting everything organized and ready to deliver to families tomorrow. (Josh and I are the Angel Tree coordinators this year for our ward.) It is a lot of work but I have really enjoyed doing it.

I have loved getting Christmas cards in the mail from all you!! Thank you to all of you who included me on your list!

My wish for all who read this is that you may have a Magical Christmas and cherish your blessings as you remember Him. Hope everyone has fun and makes lots of lasting memories. Muwah!

Congratulations on the removal of the popcorn kernel. May Josh never have to spend the entire day in the hospital again--until you have your 2nd child! Maybe you'll need to erase the popcorn kernel from your memory before going for baby no. 2--but Carter is the cutest guy ever, in spite of all of his little adventures. Someday, you'll look back at all of it and laugh!

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas too!

What is going on this year with kids sticking things up their noses...I dont know if you read Lauren's blog about Maddie and the black bean. Lovely. I would love not to be apart of the cool crowd on this one...thanks.
I think that that calling would be really neat! I hope you have a fabulous Christmas!

I am glad the kernal got removed -- the question is did Carter learn his lesson about what to stick in his ears and up his nose? or are you going to have to do it all over again!?
And a very Merry Christmas to you too!

Are you going to miss that little kernel? It's almost like a little part of him. Maybe you should scrapbook it.
