I remember them being right there... and the pigs outside and the old station wagon..was that there yet? I forget. Anyway, you guys are hilarious. I only wish we had half of the things we did when we were little on tape. We should pull out those someday and burn them to CDs "You take the egg, and you put it in the pot"Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08833515485640091855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-550523112242973910.post-65699701004311899952009-01-28T07:50:00.000-08:002009-01-28T07:50:00.000-08:00What a funny story, it made me think of some of th...What a funny story, it made me think of some of things lindsay and i used to do.Cassiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12064165489269947236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-550523112242973910.post-37264127451785778422009-01-27T01:21:00.000-08:002009-01-27T01:21:00.000-08:00Ha, wow, I never heard that story from you before....Ha, wow, I never heard that story from you before. Why have I never heard this? I swear, if I had done that I would either be dead, or still grounded by my dad! Of course, I'm the tom boy who used to hang her sacraficial barbies to the fence by the hair and my brother's GI Goes set the long locks on fire just to watch them fall to the ground, but what Dad doesn't know, won't hurt him.Cherihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08981998303903387543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-550523112242973910.post-32737168768243409082009-01-26T10:20:00.000-08:002009-01-26T10:20:00.000-08:00Great story. As I recall, we were in our corral "clubhouse", where we had spray painted the title "Lightning Sha-nays" or some other hippie name you came up with, on the fence posts. And the first order of business was to light matches and pretend we were smoking. That got boring after almost burning our eyes out and so we just lit matches and threw them on the brittle, dry, water starved weeds. Your idea, yes.

Grandpa was there, I remember. I think he and Dad and Nate had just pulled up from farming or something. And yes, I was probably the one crying because I think I already was crying, nobody noticed yet though.

Ya know, it's a good think we had that water pump right there in the middle of the yard, but we didn't think to unhook the hose and use that. Instead we ran all the way inside. And I am sure there were plenty of ditches around...maybe we shouldn't tell this story anymore :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14556048988512098994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-550523112242973910.post-92186670782922511072009-01-24T19:12:00.000-08:002009-01-24T19:12:00.000-08:00Ha Ha what a funny story!Ha Ha what a funny story!Brandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04721123513682024010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-550523112242973910.post-9994848223063496912009-01-24T18:00:00.000-08:002009-01-24T18:00:00.000-08:00I love that you tried to put it out with cups of w...I love that you tried to put it out with cups of water.
